On 30 September 2022, the Durban University of Technology (DUT) hosted the final day of the 19th Meeting of the EURYDICE Project Team (1st Face-To-Face meeting) at the Steve Biko campus. The meeting was held at the boardroom of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering. DUT’s Executive Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment attended the meeting introduction session. Discussion covered DUT’s role in all work packages with a special focus on the status of the procurement of the Open Lab and Mobile Lab equipment. A visit to the laboratory venues was conducted to view the space reserved for the Open Lab. The space is currently being refurbished and this is planned to be completed by early Nov 2022 in time for the delivery of the first consignment of laboratory equipment.
