Higher education institutions worldwide have faced an unforeseeable crisis with the spread of COVID-19. The pandemic has changed the basic conditions of the main pillar of international higher education projects and exchange, namely mobility. This crisis has led to a paradigm shift in international projects. More virtual meetings had to be established as a method of exchange instead of travelling. This transformation has not only negative impacts. This flexible response to unexpected circumstances also contributes to global climate protection aims and to more flexible and faster responses. Despite the different national policies and actions in the consortium all partners have the same goal: development of common solutions for a successful project implementation.
“We make the best of the situation as given. Of course, it would be great and also more effective to meet personally but we will make the project a success anyway! Stay healthy and all the best for you and your families!”
